Registration Procedures in Saudi Arabia

Protection period:

  • 10 years from application filling date.

Cancellation Action:

  • Non-use of the trademark within 5 years from the registration date.

Requirements:

  • Power of attorney duly notarized by the consulate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Certified copy of priority is claimed.

Protection period: 20 years from the application filling date.

Requirements:

  • Power of attorney duly notarized by the consulate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Copy of certificate of incorporation or company commercial register extract.
  • Dead of assignment (if the applicant is not the inventor) signed by both parties.
  • Certified copy of the priority document (if claiming priority).

Drawings

Period of protection:

10 years from the application filling date.

Requirements:
